About Collette Hurst
Collette Hurst creates works in many media including watercolor, pastels, prismacolors, photography, and textiles. She draws inspiration for her work from travels and residential stays in many diverse locales including urban, country, and wilderness areas. Presently a Litchfield County Connecticut resident, she enjoys plein air painting in the Farmington River, Berkshire Foothills, and Martha’s Vineyard environments. She presents workshops for libraries, community centers, and private classes. Collette is a member of the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council and organizes events promoting interaction of artists, writers, and musicians.
